There are lots of ways to play or watch field hockey in Michigan.  From early elementary recreation and education programs, to competitive middle and high school, Southern Californiahas a lot to offer youths who want to play.

Southern Californiahas also seen an increase in adult leagues as well, with opportunities to play pick-up field hockey for fun,  or more competitive league play in both indoor and outdoor scenarios.  You can play year round in Southern Californiaat any age.

A mainstay of field hockey in Southern Californiahas been the robust collegiate play, with three Division I program.  It’s always worthwhile to watch athletes from around the country and world play in Michigan, see new techniques and watch the advanced play on the pitch!  There are also clubs at some universities which are great places to play with good competition.
